Born from century-old vines in the Itata Valley (over 120 years old), Arcana Sémillon 2021 embodies the soul of ancestral Chilean terroir. Organically cultivated on granitic soils studded with quartz, this 100% Sémillon reveals a unique personality.
On the nose, it charms with delicate floral notes and expressive fruity aromas. The palate seduces with its rich and remarkable texture, maintaining characteristic elegance.
Aged 12 months on lees in French oak barrels, it offers complexity and finesse. A wine of character to serve with avocado shrimp salad or goat cheese and spinach tart. Its aging potential of 5 to 8 years promises beautiful evolution.

Chili
The Itata valley is located in the Ñuble region, in the middle of Chili. It is one of the oldest wine making areas in the country. The term itself means “abundant pasture” in indigenous Mapuche. The soil in this floodplain is sandy and rich in minerals and volcanic sediment. These natural elements contribute to the viticulture of Itata’s traditional grape varieties, país (red) and muscat (white). Other grape varieties cultivated and harvested in the area are Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Merlot, Semillon and Alicante Bouschet (or Tintorera).
