DESCRIPTION
Chambers Rosewood Grand Muscat (375ml) is a fortified wine from Rutherglen crafted by Chambers Rosewood. Made from Muscat à Petits Grains harvested at very high maturity, partially fermented and then fortified with neutral grape spirit. Aged in a solera of old casks, it features 18% alcohol and 317.8 g/L of residual sugar, with a cellaring potential of 20-30 years.
On the nose, it reveals notes of raisin, date, spices, rosewater, cedar, and rancio walnut. On the palate, it is rich, full-bodied, and highly concentrated, leading to a long, warm, and lingering finish. It pairs ideally with a walnut tart and crème anglaise.
