DESCRIPTION
Chambers Rosewood Old Vine Muscadelle (375ml) is a fortified wine from Rutherglen crafted by Chambers Rosewood. Made from Muscadelle harvested at very high maturity, partially fermented and then fortified with neutral grape spirit. Aged in a solera of old casks, it features 18% alcohol and 305.1 g/L of residual sugar, with a cellaring potential of 20-30 years.
On the nose, it reveals notes of mocha, coffee bean, caramel, malt, dried fruits, toasted nuts, and tea leaf. On the palate, it is rich, sweet, and enveloping, leading to a long and harmonious finish. It pairs ideally with a hazelnut and salted butter caramel Paris-Brest.
