Cognac Lheraud Petite Champagne 1994
The Story
Since 1810, Maison Lhéraud has embodied the art of vintage cognac with rare demanding standards. Located in Angeac, between Grande and Petite Champagne, it crafts spirits faithful to their terroir, distilled in a Charentais still and aged slowly in Limousin oak barrels. This 1994 vintage, sourced exclusively from the Petite Champagne cru, illustrates the Lhéraud style in all its nobility: balance, finesse, and depth.
The Vinification
Aged in Limousin oak barrels, this cognac benefits from optimal micro-oxygenation which enriches its aromas. Notes of dried fruits, apricots, honey, vanilla, caramel, and wood combine with touches of fine tobacco and sweet spices. The Petite Champagne brings finesse, length, and harmony to this vintage, offering a rich, silky, and perfectly balanced texture.
The Tasting
Amber in color, the Lhéraud Petite Champagne Cognac 1994 seduces with its complexity and elegance. The long and evolving finish, with touches of toasted almonds and dried fig, reveals depth and balance, the signature of great Petite Champagne vintages. Ideal for tasting or for keeping in a collector's cellar.
