The Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Collection Pinot Noir 2023 is an accessible and elegant take on Californian Pinot Noir. Sourced from grapes harvested in the early hours of the morning to preserve the freshness of the fruit, it delivers a clean and flavourful aromatic profile, typical of the Francis Ford Coppola Winery.
On the nose, notes of raspberry, redcurrant and baking spices come through with a lovely freshness. On the palate, the texture is silky and inviting, layered with flavours of black cherry, vanilla and nutmeg. The whole is light and well-balanced, without any excess concentration.
Slowly fermented in stainless steel tanks then aged for 4 months in French and American oak barrels, this Pinot Noir develops a pleasing roundness while retaining the vibrancy of the fruit. A refined yet unpretentious red, ideal with roast poultry or a cheese board.
