Otronia Brut Nature 2022 is a 100% Chardonnay sparkling wine from Argentine Patagonia, grown on the volcanic sandy and limestone soils of Sarmiento, Chubut. Vinified by direct pressing without destemming, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and then aged according to the traditional method for 25 months on its lees. The cold and windy climate of this unique region provides the terroir with ideal conditions. Alcohol 12%, pH 3.08, TA 10.31, residual sugar 11.5 g/L. The Otronia estate, founded in 2008 in Sarmiento, Chubut, Argentina, was born in a region previously untouched by vineyards. Managed by winemaker Juan Pablo Murgia, it achieved immediate success from its very first harvest in 2017. The estate maintains an organic approach and adapts to the region's climate challenges. Otronia is now recognized as the flagship producer of Chubut, Patagonia.
On the nose, delicate and fresh aromas of green apple, pear, and citrus, enhanced by subtle floral nuances and brioche. On the palate, lively and elegant, with fine and persistent bubbles that bring lightness and dynamism, leading to a long, refined, and highly pleasant finish. It pairs well with sole meunière fillets with beurre blanc or seafood and shellfish. Aging potential of 3 to 5 years.

Under the Patagonia Argentina appellation, three zones stand out: Río Negro for its elegant wines, Neuquén for their power, and Chubut, the southernmost, for their aromatic freshness. Malbec, the king grape variety, offers a fresher and more elegant style there than in the rest of the country, alongside Pinot Noir, Merlot and crystalline whites.
