This Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru La Maréchaude 2023 from Georges Dubœuf Wines is distinguished by its sparkling golden robe and remarkable presence, worthy of this prestigious Burgundian house's reputation. Coming from limited production, this exceptional wine continues the excellence of the 2022 vintage, which received 1 star in the 2025 Hachette Guide.
The nose is complex and elegant, revealing a delicate toasted oak that finely underlines aromatic fragrances of verbena and linden. On the palate, the barrel aging gives the wine a pulpy and rich texture, perfectly balanced by a vibrant freshness that extends into a finish with mouthwatering acidity.
This wonderful balance between power and finesse will express itself fully between 2025 and 2029. Served between 12 and 14°C, it will ideally accompany noble fish in sauce, creamy poultry, or pressed cheeses.

Burgundy, in eastern France, is one of the most iconic wine regions in the world, famous for its elegant, fine and complex wines. Its semi continental climate, with sharply contrasting seasons, and its clay and limestone soils rich in minerals, offer an exceptional terroir for its two leading grapes: Pinot Noir for reds and Chardonnay for whites. Alongside them, lesser known varieties such as Gamay and Aligoté add to the diversity of the vineyard.
The vineyard stretches from Chablis in the north, known for its taut, mineral whites, to the Mâconnais further south, which offers approachable, generous wines. In between, the Côte de Nuits is the kingdom of great reds, while the Côte de Beaune excels in both reds and whites. The Côte Chalonnaise completes the picture with wines that offer great value for pleasure.
