Torbreck The Steading 2021 is sourced from a blend of Grenache, Shiraz, and Mataro from historic Barossa vineyards, aged between 40 and 150 years old, on varied soils. A blend of 50% Grenache, 31% Shiraz, and 19% Mataro. Aged extensively in large French oak foudres, prioritizing fruit purity and texture over oak influence. It features 15% alcohol, a pH of 3.50, and 5.59 g/L of total acidity. Aging potential of 10 years and more.
On the nose, dominated by red fruits such as pomegranate and cherry, with spicy and earthy notes. On the palate, medium-bodied, juicy, and structured, carried by a beautiful freshness. Fine and firm tannins, with a persistent finish showing spicy and savory accents. Pairs with a confit lamb shoulder or a roasted eggplant.
Australia
The Barossa Valley is one of Australia’s most prestigious wine regions. Known for its century-old vines, it produces some of the country’s finest red wines—powerful, concentrated Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache. This iconic terroir is also home to a unique style of unoaked Semillon: crisp, vibrant, and citrusy. If you're looking for a great Australian wine, Barossa is always a safe bet.

Old vines that express themselves with generosity. Spicy, fruity, long. It is easy to see why this is a benchmark.
