Vasse Felix Premier Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 embodies the excellence of this estate founded in 1967, offering a distinctive interpretation of the Margaret River terroir. A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Malbec, 1% Petit Verdot, and 1% Merlot, grown on gravelly and loamy soils. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (including 33% new). It features 14.5% alcohol and 0.51 g/L of residual sugar.
On the nose, a complex bouquet blending aromas of forest fruits, herbaceous and undergrowth nuances, as well as floral notes. On the palate, juicy, intense, and deliciously fruity, with perfectly integrated tannins. Pairs beautifully with pasta in tomato and basil sauce or a mushroom stew. Aging potential of 20 years and more.
