DESCRIPTION
At the gates of Bordeaux, Château Luchey-Halde extends over 23 hectares in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Its vines grow on gravel mixed with clay, the terroir that has built the reputation of the region's great whites. The estate is certified High Environmental Value.
The white vineyard covers 4 hectares, planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, and Sémillon. The grapes are hand-harvested in two passes per plot. The estate's whites are vinified in barrels and then aged on the lees, with regular stirring (bâtonnage).
Sauvignon contributes its vibrancy and citrus aromas, while Sémillon adds its roundness. The result is a balanced Pessac-Léognan white that combines freshness and richness.
