Its 30-year-old vines sink their roots into clay and silica soils. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted twice, then the wine is aged for 12 to 15 months in French oak barrels.
Supple and elegant, it offers aromas of red fruits and blackcurrant, silky tannins, and a subtle woody touch. It can be enjoyed today or kept for a few years, and pairs well with roast duck, lamb chops, or pressed cheeses.
