Burgundy is one of the largest wine-producing regions in Eastern France and produces some of the most exclusive wines in the world. Burgundy's semi-continental climate and limestone soils give the wines exceptional minerality and complexity. The region has two main grape varieties: Pinot Noir for red wines and Chardonnay for white wines. If you prefer something more rustic, you can opt for Gamay or Aligoté which are less common grape varieties in the region.
