DESCRIPTION

The vineyard of Château Maucoil is located in the north-west of the Châteauneuf du Pape territory, on the left bank of the Rhône, and on the three terroirs of the appellation: the pebbles, the Hurgonians and the sands. It is made from the youngest vines of the estate planted with 4 grape varieties on sandy and pebble soils. This wine has a very fine nose with superb black fruits and spicy notes. The palate is delicious and intense, with great balance and elegance right out of the bottle. It goes perfectly with a beef stew or a mushroom risotto.
