History
Founded in 1895 in Rivesaltes, Maison Cazes is now an essential reference in Roussillon. Nestled at the foot of the Corbières, its 220-hectare vineyard rests on clay-limestone soils mixed with schist and rolled pebbles, providing an ideal terroir for producing exceptional Vins Doux Naturels. A pioneer in organic and biodynamic viticulture since 1997, the estate crafts authentic and precise cuvées that fully express the richness of Roussillon.
Vinification
Made from Muscat d’Alexandrie and Muscat à Petits Grains, this wine is produced through direct pressing, low-temperature fermentation, and mutage in both liquid and solid phases to preserve natural sugars and the finest aromas. After a 24-hour skin maceration and careful aging, it reveals a full-bodied and balanced structure.
