DESCRIPTION
Powerful and refined, this 95% Malbec, 5% Petit Verdot comes from the Araucana vineyard (5 ha), organically farmed in the heart of Patagonia. Its windblown soils, enriched with volcanic ash, quartz, and a high level of calcium carbonate, are unique in the world. Cool nights and constant winds shape grapes of exceptional concentration while preserving a vibrant natural acidity.
Vinified in small stainless-steel tanks to preserve aromatic purity, then aged 12 months in French oak barrels, this vintage reveals a deep color and a complex nose of intense black fruits, licorice, peaty earth, dark chocolate, and juniper. The palate is velvety and generous, marked by a rich umami character that extends the finish.
A great cellaring wine (7 to 10 years) that shines alongside roast lamb, game, or aged cheese.

Cool climate, constant winds and alluvial soils, sometimes calcareous, produce wines of remarkable natural purity and acidity. Under the Patagonia Argentina appellation, three zones stand out: Río Negro for its elegant wines, Neuquén for their power, and Chubut, the southernmost, for their aromatic freshness. Malbec, the king grape variety, offers a fresher and more elegant style there than in the rest of the country, alongside Pinot Noir, Merlot and crystalline whites.
