DESCRIPTION
The vineyard of Château Maucoil is located in the north-western part of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape territory, on the left bank of the Rhône, and on the three terroirs of the appellation: the rolled pebble stone, the Hurgonians and the sands. This wine is made from the youngest vines on the estate, planted with four grape varieties on sandy and pebble soils. This wine has a very fine nose with superb black fruits and spicy notes. The palate is delicious and intense, with great balance and elegance right out of the bottle. The Tradition pairs perfectly with beef stew or a mushroom risotto.
