Whisky. Leather, tobacco, a nightcap filled with contemplative sighs and sips. It is hardly surprising that whisky was produced and popularised in poetic bastions like Scotland and Ireland. But not so fast. Other countries are catching up and putting their own spin on this classic spirit. Anyone up for a stiff drink?
