Founders and History
The story of In Dreams began with Nina Stocker, its first winemaker, who laid the foundation for a philosophy of small-batch production and traditional techniques. Anthony Fikkers took over winemaking in 2019, continuing this legacy with a focus on showcasing the unique characteristics of the Yarra Valley’s cool-climate vineyards. Fikkers honed his skills working with renowned wineries such as Giant Steps and Medhurst and gained international experience in Burgundy, Piedmont, and Baden. His approach emphasizes minimal intervention, allowing the fruit to shine through as an authentic expression of time and place.
Speciality Wines
In Dreams specializes in two iconic varietals: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, sourced from low-yielding vineyards primarily located in the Upper Yarra Valley. The cooler microclimate of this region lends itself to vibrant minerality and delicate fruit profiles.
