The Barossa Valley is one of Australia’s most prestigious wine regions. Known for its century-old vines, it produces some of the country’s finest red wines—powerful, concentrated Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache. This iconic terroir is also home to a unique style of unoaked Semillon: crisp, vibrant, and citrusy. If you're looking for a great Australian wine, Barossa is always a safe bet.
Le nez est intense et complexe, avec des fruits noirs (mûre, cerise noire), des épices (clou de girofle, poivre) et des touches subtiles de cuir et de sous-bois. Cela crée une belle profondeur et une première impression captivante.
Rich blackberry and blueberry layers are wrapped in fine-grained tannins. A whisper of vanilla oak and cured meat adds dimension. Long, polished, and deeply satisfying.
From the oldest Mourvèdre vines on Earth (planted in 1853!), this wine shows incredible depth: dark plum, cigar box, black tea, and earthy spice. Age-worthy and profoundly moving.

I really love this wine, first for its grape variety, which offers beautiful spices and lovely roundness, with lots of expression. It's exactly the style of wine I appreciate: lightly oaked, sunny and ripe. It would perfectly accompany a nice grilled dish or meat.
