Sourced from the Dry Creek Valley appellation in the heart of Sonoma County, it leads with ripe fruit, warm spice and real intensity, in the expressive yet accessible style typical of the Francis Ford Coppola Winery.
On the nose, aromas of caramel, baking spices and berry tart come through immediately, with a genuine sense of richness. On the palate, the wine is full and flavourful, carried by a supple texture and generous substance. The whole remains well-balanced, with a warm finish that lingers without heaviness.
Aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, this Francis Coppola Director's Cut Zinfandel develops depth and complexity while retaining a lovely clarity of fruit. A flavourful, indulgent red, ideal with grilled meats or boldly spiced dishes.
