The Rutini Colección Cabernet Malbec 2022 embodies the excellence of the Rutini Wines house, founded in 1885 and a pioneer in the Uco Valley since 1925. This balanced blend (50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Malbec) marries the structure and length of the Cabernet with the silky texture of the Malbec.
Crafted by Mariano Di Paola, head oenologist since 1994, this wine benefits from manual harvesting and is aged for 12 months in barrels (50% new French oak, 50% new American oak).
Intense red with purplish reflections, it reveals aromas of ripe dark fruits (blackberries, plums), along with spicy and woody notes. On the palate, it offers beautiful amplitude, firm and well-integrated tannins, and a long, persistent finish.
Perfect for accompanying grilled red meats, stewed dishes, and pasta with ragú.
