Armagnac Ténarèze Baron G. Legrand 1995

Armagnac Tenareze Baron Legrand

Armagnac Ténarèze Baron G. Legrand 1995

🇫🇷 AOC Armagnac Ténarèze | Gascogne | France
Maison Baron Gaston Legrand was bought by Cognac Lhéraud in 1998 and is considered to be one of the best armagnac producers in the south-west of France. Here, everything comes down to the knowledge and respect of the Ténarèze terroir, close to the Pyrenees mountains. The Ténarèze 1995 is aged in oak casks and is a blend of Ugni blanc and Baco grapes. You may have never heard of them (and that’s OK), but they create a sweet and flavourful brandy. This armagnac is fresh and lively, with its notes of candied and dried fruits, mandarin peel and cedar. The perfect match for foie gras, goat cheese and honey tapas, roquefort cheese and cannelés, a small French pastry filled with rum and vanilla custard.
