DESCRIPTION
Torbreck Old Vines GSM 2021 is a vibrant blend of 53% Mourvèdre, 43% Shiraz, and 4% Grenache, sourced from the rolling red hills of the Barossa Valley and historic vineyards in Marananga, Gomersal, and Ebenezer on varied soils of clay, sand, and gravel. Aged for 24 months in seasoned French oak barrels. It features 14.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.59, and a total acidity of 5.51 g/L. Aging potential of 8 years.
The nose reveals a complex bouquet of luscious fruits, mingled with underbrush, garrigue, and spices. On the palate, it offers beautiful concentration with supple tannins and a fresh finish. Ideal paired with a truffle and foie gras pâté en croûte or duck with sweet spices.
