Vasse Felix is a winery that focuses on quality and leads with a minimal intervention approach. This wine’s distinctive style possesses all the hallmarks of the finest Margaret River Cabernet; elegance, power and ageability. It is juicy, intense and luscious on entry with fast building tannin, and incredibly firm, yet super-luscious concentrated raspberry, fresh vanilla pods and a delicious meatiness.
Aged for 15 months in oak barrels, Filius is a characterful Australian red, structured yet approachable, ideal with a matured ribeye, a herb-roasted leg of lamb, or a wild mushroom gratin. Enjoy it now or cellar it for several years.
