DESCRIPTION
Beaumont Chenin Blanc 2024 is an unwooded white wine from the Bot River (Walker Bay) appellation. Crafted by Sébastien Beaumont on shale soils, it is fermented in concrete and stainless steel tanks using both cultivated and natural yeasts, then aged for 4 months on the lees. With 13.5% alcohol and a residual sugar of 3.2 g/L, it fully expresses the cool-climate Chenin style.
On the nose, white fruits (pear, apple) and citrus nuances (lemon, grapefruit) unfold with lightness. On the palate, the sensation is refreshing, the texture delicate, and the crispness perfectly balanced. Ideal with seafood and shellfish, or spicy dishes from Thai and Indian cuisine.
