DESCRIPTION
Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Collection Pinot Noir 2023 comes from select vineyards across California. Aged 4 months in French oak barrels, pH 3.78, total acidity 5.2 g/L. Morning harvesting preserves the aromatic integrity of the fruit. The style favours silky texture and purity of red fruit. Founded by legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, the estate was born from his love of wine and family memories. In 1974, Coppola acquired a historic property in Rutherford, Napa Valley, with the proceeds from The Godfather. In 2006, he opened a second winery in Geyserville in the Sonoma region. With iconic ranges such as the Diamond Collection, Coppola combines tradition, quality and accessibility, embodying the elegance of Californian wine.
On the nose, an expressive nose of raspberry and redcurrant, lifted by notes of vanilla and soft spices. On the palate, supple and satiny, marked by black cherry, ripe raspberry and a subtle nutmeg touch on the finish. It pairs with pork fillet mignon or roasted chicken supreme. Ageing potential of 5 years.

Sonoma Valley is an American wine region often recognized as the cradle of California viticulture. The valley is the driest part of Sonoma County due to the shelter provided by the mountains. The region is considered the source of Northern California's finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines that benefit from the warm, sunny climate.
