Sourced from Ridgehaven Vineyard in Sellicks Hill (clay-loam, shattered gravel, north-westerly aspect), this Shiraz from 26-year-old vines is crafted to preserve fruit vibrancy: cool fermentation, 16 months in oak (80% French, 20% American). The result is honest and generous: blood plum, dark cherry, blackberry, hints of cocoa and sweet spice. Smooth tannins, an enveloping palate, a soft and lingering finish.
