France
Provence, located in the far southeast of France, is an iconic wine region bathed in Mediterranean sunshine. Its hot, dry, and bright climate, combined with a wide variety of soils (schist, limestone, clay), makes it an ideal terroir for crafting expressive and well-balanced wines.
The undisputed star of the region is rosé, which reigns supreme: fresh, fruity, and delicate, it perfectly embodies the Provençal art of living. The Côtes de Provence appellation—the largest and most renowned in the region—spans a vast area from the Alpine foothills to the Var coastline. It is synonymous with elegant rosés featuring notes of citrus, white flowers, and red berries, highly appreciated for their freshness and finesse.
Provence also produces rich reds and subtle whites, still relatively unknown, but well worth the attention of curious wine lovers.
Un vin qui allie finesse et puissance avec élégance. Notes de cerise noire, cassis et un soupçon de vanille. La texture est veloutée, la finale longue et persistante. Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour ce millésime 2020.
Les Hautes Collines 2020 is a beautifully composed red from Provence, with ripe blackberry, plum, and dried herbs unfolding over silky tannins. Hints of spice and garrigue give it a true sense of place. A polished, elegant wine with Mediterranean soul.
The first sip surprised me—in a good way. It's smooth and fruity, with notes of black cherry, raspberry, and something earthy like wild herbs or forest floor. Had it with roasted duck, and it worked perfectly. Great value for money, especially for a wine with such personality.
I really recommend this red wine from Château La Verrerie. The staff from Vinodelice recommended it to me. It was great alongside my veal saltimbocca.

Sunnier than 2019, but just as balanced. Perfect with veal chop.
