Made in China takes on a whole new meaning with Mulando. Fang Wang, a Chinese-born German businesswoman, decided to name her wine company after the famed warrior Mulan (yes, like the Disney movie). Similarly to this folklorish heroine, Fang Wang is a woman in a man’s world, doing what she can to carve her place in the Chinese and international wine market. The Beauty (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a tightrope artist, nimbly balancing acidity, bitterness and sweetness. This wine boasts a melodic arrangement of blackberry, plums and red berries, punctuated by phrases of fresh herbs and oak. A perfect fit for a vegetable couscous or a leg of lamb.

Un rouge dense qui évoque la soie sombre : fruits noirs confiturés, tabac blond, pointe de cacao. Bouche riche et structurée, mais sans lourdeur. Ce vin impose sa présence avec élégance. À découvrir absolument.

Ouvert lors d’un repas de famille avec une côte de bœuf. Très bien passé, belle rondeur, du fruit mais pas trop lourd.

C'est une belle surprise ce vin chinois. Je ne m'attendais pas à découvrir une aussi bonne cuvée.
