DESCRIPTION
A 'goldilocks' vintage where everything was just right! The nose is lifted with ripe cherries and a subtle granite muskiness, followed by a palate of tangy pomegranate and skin and stalk tannins. A lively wine of sinewy complexity, it is fresh and fine. This gamay is perfect for a cheese and charcuterie board or a pasta salad.
REGION
Yarra Valley
Australia
The Yarra Valley is a well-respected Australian wine region that occupies the eastern half of the Port Phillip viticultural zone, in the diminutive state of Victoria. At complete odds with the usual, hot and dry Shiraz-growing image of Australia, Yarra Valley is best known for its bright, complex wines made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
