This Juliénas captures the soul of Beaujolais with both intensity and finesse. Sourced from the historic "Les Capitans" vineyard, it benefits from an ideal South/Southeast exposure and deep, siliceous volcanic soils.
This deep red reveals an expressive nose of peach, cinnamon, and blackcurrant. On the palate, it charms with its firm structure, silky tannins, and impressive ageing potential.
The Château des Capitans Juliénas pairs beautifully with bold dishes such as roasted vegetable curry, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, or a mushroom-based veggie burger. It also shines with refined brasserie classics like œufs meurette, braised beef cheek, or poultry with morel mushrooms.
