The Provence way of life…in a bottle. Situated in the stunning Luberon region of Provence, this winery stands out from the crowd thanks to its know-how, its location and diversity of grape varieties. Les Hautes Collines transforms into art the subtle alliance of a Grenache (41%), Carignan (16%) and Syrah (43%). This organic wine is aged for 36 months in stainless steel tanks or oak vats…depending on the grape variety in question. The bouquet reveals the juiciness of little black fruits and morello cherries. Once it has been aerated a bit, the aromatic palette opens up and smokey and chocolate-y notes swiftly answer the call. On the palate, this wine is generous and fresh, with a clean, crisp attack. The tannins are elegant and fine like silk to the touch. This red wine has a velvety long finish. The perfect match for roasted guinea fowl with chanterelle mushrooms, a duck breast with cranberry sauce or a squash gratin with chestnuts.
