The Francis Coppola Director's Cut Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley 2021 is a generous and warming take on Californian Zinfandel. Sourced from the Dry Creek Valley appellation in the heart of Sonoma County, it leads with ripe fruit, warm spice and real intensity, in the expressive yet accessible style typical of the Francis Ford Coppola Winery.
On the nose, aromas of caramel, baking spices and berry tart come through immediately, with a genuine sense of richness. On the palate, the wine is full and flavourful, carried by a supple texture and generous substance. The whole remains well-balanced, with a warm finish that lingers without heaviness.
Aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, this Francis Coppola Director's Cut Zinfandel develops depth and complexity while retaining a lovely clarity of fruit. A flavourful, indulgent red, ideal with grilled meats or boldly spiced dishes.
United States
Sonoma Valley is an American wine region often recognized as the cradle of California viticulture. The valley is the driest part of Sonoma County due to the shelter provided by the mountains. The region is considered the source of Northern California's finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines that benefit from the warm, sunny climate.
Velvety tannins and waves of dark cherry, clove, and cocoa make this wine both comforting and complex. Like a great film — memorable, layered, and satisfying.
Bursts of blackberry, ripe plum, and baking spice jump out of the glass. Lush and fruit-forward, yet structured enough to pair with grilled meats or spicy dishes. A textbook Zinfandel done right.

Generous Zinfandel, between blackberry, pepper, and vanilla. Powerful but balanced. Perfect for a barbecue.
