Flagship of historic Gomez Cruzado estate (1886), El Predilecto 2022 embodies Rioja's modernity. This blend (65% Grenache, 35% Tempranillo) from old vines at the foot of mountains framing the Ebro valley reveals the expertise of David Gonzales and Juan Antonio Leza.
On the nose, it seduces with aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry and raspberry, enhanced by sweet spices and light oak. The palate, balanced and round, unveils supple tannins and remarkable freshness finishing with long, elegant finale.
Aged 6 months in concrete vats, it favors fruity expression. A versatile wine to serve with grilled ribeye or herb-crusted rack of lamb. Its aging potential of 10 years promises graceful evolution.
