Hold and Hollo Dry 2024 is sourced from the prestigious crus of Tokaj and embodies a young and dynamic style while remaining anchored in the authenticity of its volcanic terroir. A blend of Furmint, Hárslevelű, Zéta, and Muscat à Petits Grains, vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve all its aromatic freshness. Residual sugar 7.3 g/L, total acidity 6.0 g/L. Founded in 2004 by Pascal Demko, the Holdvölgy estate spans 28 hectares spread across seven crus of Mád, in the heart of Tokaj. Renowned for its commitment to excellence, it offers a diverse range extending from vibrant dry wines to exceptional sweet wines, highlighting the richness of volcanic soils. The aging cellar dates back to the 14th century and is one of the longest in the region. The estate also offers a modern and accessible range, 'Hold and Hollo', which captivates with its young, fresh, and dynamic style.
On the nose, a floral profile with notes of almond, white peach, gooseberry, fennel, and a subtle touch of mint. On the palate, fresh and vibrant, with an explosion of fruit and a liveliness that creates a balanced and dynamic wine. It pairs perfectly with grilled fish with mango and mint salsa or a Thai shrimp curry. Serve between 7 and 9°C. Cellaring potential of 5 years and more.

This is the land of milk and honey for viticulture. A microclimate, a volcanic soil, and a little mushroom called botrytis, also known as “noble rot” all contribute to making Tokaj a fruitful location. The noble rot shrivels the ripe grapes, thus creating Aszú, the famous sweet wines of the region. These wines, filled to the brim with sweet and concentrated aromas, are the flagship product of Tokaj. In addition to Aszú, Furmint Dry and Tokaji Eszencia are also a must-try.
