This wine is brimming with intense black fruits, notes of licorice, earthy peat, damp forest floor, and the rich indulgence of dark chocolate brownie. Imagine a chord—high treble with deep bass—all in perfect harmony, with layers of velvet texture and umami richness underscored by complex juniper notes. This exceptional wine will age gracefully for 7-10 years, crafted from the finest grapes of the 5-hectare Araucana Vineyard, where calcareous soils, cool nights, and strong winds enhance concentration and natural acidity.

The Argentine region of Jujuy is located in the most northern part of the country. In fact, the highest vineyards in the world are found in Uquía, a town in the province of Jujuy. These vines can be found 3 329 metres above sea level. This wine region is quite small compared to others in the area and exports far less. This is too bad, considering how structured and rich these wines are. The most cultivated grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Merlot. These grapes deliver fragrant aromas of pepper and blackcurrant. And as they mature, notes of spice and undergrowth are revealed.
