DESCRIPTION

Sergioveto was conceived by Italo in 1985, as a tribute to his son Sergio, who began working alongside him at the head of the winery that year. The name of this wine is also a reference to the archaic name of Sangiovese, which was the main grape chosen to produce this wine. Since 2015, it has been under the Chianti Classico Riserva appellation and produced 100% from the Sangiovese of a single vineyard, named Pian Della Casina. Bright ruby red in color, it has a warm and seductive aroma of red berries and jam, followed by balsamic notes with a spicy finish of leather and sweet tobacco.
