DESCRIPTION
Steeped in a rich and long tradition of winemaking since 1703, the Colla family presents Nebbiolo d’Alba. It is a red wine from Cascine Drago, a very small and exclusive production area that borders the region of Barbaresco in Northern Italy and requires their wines to be single varieties, in this case, Nebbiolo. Harvested manually, it was aged in oak casks for approximately one year. Its garnet red color translates into complex aromas on the nose, with red berries, plum, rose, violet and spice aromas. In the mouth, red berries and spice aromas along with well-rounded tannins, make this wine perfect for pastas with meat-based sauces or a good ribeye on the bone.

Piedmont
Italy

Piedmont is one of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions, especially renowned for its red wines made from Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes. Nebbiolo, the region’s emblematic varietal, is the source of its most celebrated wines, including the iconic Barolo and Barbaresco.
Both made from 100% Nebbiolo, these wines stand out for their distinct styles. Barolo is powerful and structured, with a deep, full-bodied palate built for aging. Barbaresco, more approachable in its youth, charms with its elegance and brightness. Two expressions of the same grape, shaped by exceptional terroirs.
