Vinified by the family-run Kleinood estate, Tamboerskloof Buurman showcases the finesse of Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc. Its name, Buurman (“neighbor” in Afrikaans), pays tribute to the bonds and conviviality that unite people in this iconic wine region.
This 100% Chenin Blanc, certified vegan, displays a pale yellow hue and aromas of wildflowers and white pear. The crisp, vibrant palate blends lime, pineapple, and passion fruit, leading to an elegant finish with hints of chamomile and mandarin.
Carefully crafted, this Steen (the local name for South African Chenin Blanc) comes from hand-harvested grapes. It is fermented in a concrete egg and then aged in French oak barrels, achieving a balanced texture and lovely length. Enjoy with fish, seafood, or spicy Thai cuisine.
