DESCRIPTION
The Story
Since 1810, Maison Lhéraud has crafted vintage cognacs of rare finesse, faithful to the Charentais tradition. Established in Angeac, in the heart of the Fins Bois, it perpetuates ancestral expertise passed down from generation to generation. This 1995 vintage, sourced from the Fins Bois cru, testifies to a masterful balance between aromatic richness and elegance, the fruit of half a century of patience and mastery.
The Vinification
Distilled in 1995 and aged in Limousin oak barrels, this cognac benefits from a natural maturation that develops roundness and aromatic complexity. The aging in wood allows it to express notes of spices, cocoa, and vanilla in a soft and velvety texture, highlighting the balanced and harmonious character of the vintage.
The Tasting
On the nose, aromas of spices and cocoa are revealed, subtly enhanced by touches of vanilla. On the palate, the cognac captivates with its smoothness, balance, and controlled power. The long and refined finish leaves a warm and persistent impression, true to the distinctive style of Maison Lhéraud.
REGION
Nouvelle Aquitaine
France
A very beautiful balance for this vintage. The nose is aromatic with cocoa and fine spices. The palate has a velvety and powerful texture. The finish is refined and persistent, very true to the Fins Bois cru.
