The winery's blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz is an homage to the Australian winemaking of the 1950s and 1960s, and this 2019 vintage is classically Aussie. With a warmer, drier growing season than normal, spicy aromatics arise from the glass of this deep, concentrated red. Enticing aromas of spices, vanilla and blackcurrant develop from the outset, while the palate expands on the black fruit flavours alongside gentle tannins and a zippy acidity.
