The McLaren Vale wine region, located just south of Adelaide, is very highly regarded throughout both Australia and the world. Shiraz leads the region's list of award-winning wines, making McLaren Vale a favorite location to grow this grape. Cabernet Sauvignon is another prominent grape variety, along with Grenache and Mourvedre which, together with Shiraz, make up some of the most acclaimed GSM blends here. Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc dominate McLaren Vale's white grape varieties, with a plethora of other regional and international specialties such as Merlot, Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Viognier also making their mark.
This vintage delivers layered aromas of dark fruit, spice, and a touch of vanilla oak. The palate is plush and well-structured, balancing power with elegance for a satisfying finish.
Brash Higgins RIPPLE 2021 is a bold red blend bursting with ripe blackberry, plum, and hints of dark chocolate. Smooth tannins and a luscious mouthfeel make it an approachable yet serious wine.
One of the smoothest reds I’ve had in a while. Bursting with red berries—raspberry and cherry mostly. Super easy-drinking, almost too easy! Great value for money. Had it slightly chilled with grilled chicken skewers—perfection.
Jana - Local Nose
A maceration of Nero d'Avola submerged by Cabernet Sauvignon juice. Aromas of blueberries and wild strawberries with a hint of mint. The tannins are precise and the acidity well-present.
