DESCRIPTION
Kanonkop Kadette Rosé 2025 draws all its uniqueness from young Pinotage vines (5 to 15 years old), planted on exceptional terroirs of decomposed granite and Hutton soils. To preserve the vibrancy and purity of the fruit, the grapes are quickly pressed upon harvest, and the wine is then aged for 3 months on lees in stainless steel tanks, lending it a lovely texture. The very alluring nose opens with subtle notes of blackcurrant, fresh strawberry, and rose petals. On the palate, the attack is lively and bracing, driven by an irresistibly juicy acidity and a long, saline, fruity finish. A gastronomic rosé ideal to pair with grilled salmon or spicy peri-peri prawns.
