Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Collection Chardonnay 2022 comes from Monterey, a cool-climate region that produces well-balanced wines. Aged for 7 months in French and American oak barrels, pH 3.65, total acidity 4.4 g/L. The 2022 vintage, marked by a mild and ideally temperate summer, gives rise to a wine with aromas of stone fruits and toasted oak. Founded by the legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, the estate was born out of his love for wine and family memories. In 1974, Coppola acquired a historic property in Rutherford, Napa Valley, using the profits from The Godfather. In 2006, he opened a second winery in Geyserville, in the Sonoma region. With iconic ranges like the Diamond Collection, Coppola combines tradition, quality, and accessibility, embodying the elegance of Californian wine.
On the nose, aromas of stone fruits, spices, and toasted oak with a touch of vanilla. On the palate, a creamy and balanced texture, followed by a long and harmonious finish. It pairs perfectly with roasted pork chops or grilled chicken. Serve between 7 and 9°C. Cellaring potential of 3 to 5 years.
