The 2019 Tamboerskloof Syrah from Kleinood Estate is beautifully expressive—aromas of blackberry, cracked pepper, violets, and smoked meat lead into a structured, medium-bodied palate. Finely knit tannins and vibrant acidity frame the dark fruit, offering a Syrah of both power and finesse.

Deeply impressed by the intensity of this Syrah. You get dark berries and black pepper right from the start, followed by subtle floral notes and a long, elegant finish. I paired it with beef short ribs and it was a stunning match. Excellent structure.
