DESCRIPTION
Torbreck Old Vines GSM 2021 is a vibrant blend of 53% Mourvèdre, 43% Shiraz and 4% Grenache, from the rolling red lands of the Barossa Valley and historic vineyards of Marananga, Gomersal and Ebenezer on varied soils of clay, sand and gravel. Aged 24 months in used French oak barrels. It shows 14.5% alcohol, pH 3.59 and 5.51 g/L total acidity. Aging potential of 8 years.
The nose reveals a complex bouquet of indulgent fruits, mixed with undergrowth, garrigue and spice. On the palate, fine concentration with supple tannins and freshness on the finish. Ideal with a truffle and foie gras pâté en croûte or duck with sweet spices.
